P’i (Stagnation), Hexagram 12 – P’i refers to a time of stagnation and to the fragility of life. It also represents a form of adversity that is caused by certain types of people in and around one’s life. P’i serves as a warning to be aware of those who don’t have your best interests at heart, stand your ground and do not give in to them.
