Tune of the Day for Friday 14 August 2020: DJ Qbert faderless scratching

Today’s tune of the day takes on a different take by way of a performance by turntablist DJ Qbert. DJ Qbert who is seen here in the video scratching without a fader is a message today about embracing all of your skills and maximising them. It’s time to stop limiting what you can and can not do. If you have a vision and are able to visualise yourself doing something then it means that it belongs to you and that you have the capability and the capacity to do it, after all every single one of our visions really and truly do serve a purpose. DJ Qbert’s impressive and inspirational faderless scratching is a signal that it is more than the right time for you to put your hands to whatever it is that you envisage and to make it happen physically. Remember you are capable of amazing things.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I share some musical vibes. Music is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot and any other form of divination, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
