Tune of the Day for Saturday 18 July 2020: The Cat by Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra

Cats lead by example, teaching us many things – to be present, to raise our vibes to the highest level possible, to enjoy life, to own our power, to handle life with grace and cattitude where necessary, to be our true selves, and as evident in this rendition of The Cat by cool cat himself Jeff Goldblum and his jazz band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, to be playful too. Many know Jeff Goldblum as an actor, but he’s also a jazz pianist and much, much more. The Cat today is a reminder to be playful, get creative and have fun. If you have felines that are a part of your household, play with your kitties and observe how cats don’t need many toys to be playful – pieces of cut up paper or cleaned-up acorns often suffice. And if you do not have kitties at home, perhaps it is time to get in tune with your inner cat.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I share some musical vibes. Music is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot and any other form of divination, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
