Tune of the Day for Wednesday 17 June 2020: Be Water I by Christian Sands

With its association with emotion, purification, intuition, cleansing and healing, Tune of the Day from jazz pianist Christian Sands urges you to connect with the water elemental today – whether its taking a cold shower, bathing in a bath with salt to aid in detoxification, making your own fruit or veg-infused water, taking a walk along a canal, beach or river, or simply visualising yourself taking a plunge in a natural pool and going for a swim. Signalling movement and change once again, water is also a reminder today to be more fluid in your approach to life and to let go of any predictability, allowing youself to wash away any old patterns of behaviour and to embrace your inner being’s way of rolling just like water. As Christian Sands’ Be Water I begins with an inspirational Bruce Lee quote: “Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup; you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle… Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

Tune of the Day is a divinatory series here on this blog where I share some musical vibes. Music is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!

Rosalind Medea is an Intuitive Reader and Counsellor. I enjoy music and I use it in my own life to raise the vibes, for the guidance it brings and for healing.
