Tune of the Day for Saturday 23 May 2020: When I Shine by The Herbaliser ft Bahamadia

The Herbaliser and Bahamadia’s When I Shine is a message today about expressing your truth in whatever which way your inner being desires to express her or himself. Whether it’s waxing lyrical like Bahamadia, producing beats like The Herbaliser, through a tarot spread, through crafting a piece of jewellery, creating an illustration or any other medium you choose, it’s time to shine. As Bahamadia expresses: “You’re not dealin with the typical, I’m Queen Order in the physical…Truths I get loose with that amuse it then use it, To captivate the youth through my creative juices, Daily come students on my school of thought not ever truant, So enter into language and the oral I speak fluent, Be.. when I shine”. You know your purpose, you know where you shine and so now it’s time to act on it and take to that “stage” where you have an audience waiting.

Tune of the Day is a divinatory series here on this blog where I share some musical vibes. Music is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!

Rosalind Medea is an Intuitive Reader and Counsellor. I enjoy music and I use it in my own life to raise the vibes, for the guidance it brings and for healing.
