Tune of the Day for Saturday 18 April 2020: Work It Out by Q-Tip

Q-Tip’s lyrical wisdom on Work It Out, in continuation of yesterday’s message about getting to know who you are, urges you to bring out your passions and to live out your passions. Doing what you love and loving what you do is a crucial part of life and living. If you have been ignoring your passions and plodding along in some “dull job working for the dollar/pound/dough/the wonga (whatever you want to call money) and working with people you don’t vibe with at all”, now is the time to ditch the “grind” and follow your passions and what makes your heart and soul tick. And remember it’s not about how anyone else out there does things or trying to mould your passions to “fit in” with the world outside of you, but it’s about doing it the way your inner being wants to roll in whatever way she or he desires. In the words of Q-Tip: “Boring, What my life used to be, ‘Til I tapped the MPC to conduct and such. Breaking, That’s what ya’ll gonna do, That means ya’ll break through cause ya’ll clearly touched.” Know that once you start, there’s no stopping you.

Tune of the Day is a divinatory series here on this blog where I share some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
