Tune of the Day for Monday 30 March 2020: You Can Do It (Baby) by Nuyorican Soul feat George Benson

Current circumstances are forcing changes worldwide and for many, it is also a wake up call as to where you’ve been “stalling the ball” in your own life. As you seek the wisdom of your intuition or higher mind for guidance and it starts to become the norm rather than the exception to the rule, you are being confronted with an aspect of you that you’ve been doing your bestest, albeit unconsciously, to bury. It may be a skill or a talent that is an inherent part of who you are – whether it’s singing, writing, making or fixing things, teaching, healing or any number of things – and it’s going to keep rearing it’s head until you acknowledge and accept it and answer its call for it’s a part of your calling here on this planet and the energy of which is much needed right now. Encouragement today comes from the lyrics of George Benson on Nuyorican Soul’s You Can Do (It Baby): “You can do it baby, You can do it baby, You’ve got rhythm, I’ve got rhythm too…Been so long since I’ve been gone, Been so long since I’ve been gone, You know I’m back from the world, You know I’m back from the world.” You’re being urged to follow your very own rhythm, not the “norm” and to trust in the process.

Tune of the Day is a divinatory series here on this blog where I share some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
