Tune of the Day for Thursday 26 March 2020: Peace on Earth by Ebo Taylor

Ghanaian guitarist Ebo Taylor gifts us peace, harmony and wisdom with Peace on Earth. A largely instrumental funk tune, it also features a one and only lyric: “Souls we are going, Don’t know where we’re going”. This is a reminder of the need to trust in your true self’s process. Have you noticed when you give up the need to have all of the details ahead of time – “the who, what, when, why, how” – your day goes much smoother and you’re more at peace with yourself and the world around you? That’s because you’ve then handed over complete control to your intuition or higher mind and your ability to be guided by her or him is then uninterrupted. Let each moment in your day pan out how your higher mind intends it to and that element of “not knowing where you’re going” enables you to be unpredictable and live out a habit-less and pattern-less existence – the true essence of life.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I hare some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
