Tune of the Day for Wednesday 25 March 2020: Rhythm of Life by Jimetta Rose

Rhythm of Life from Jimetta Rose is a reminder to be aware of you, the world around you, and your place in the world. Living in harmony with the planet and the environment is a natural part of life and living. The rhythm of life includes cycles, just like seasons and within seasons there are, for example, seasonal crops which yield seasonal produce. If we go against the natural rhythm of life, that means we aren’t living the way life is intended to be and so “abnormalities” are formed in the process, which may manifest as illnesses in the body and in the planet. If we stop for a moment and attune ourselves to our own inner being firstly and then to the planet and start attuning to the rhythm of life, life becomes peaceful and harmonious both within our own selves and around the wider world, and those “abnormalities” start to dissolve. As the chorus goes: “Listen to the rhythm of life, Hear it, Rhythm of life.”

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I hare some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
