Tune of the Day for Monday 9 March 2020: Promised Land by Joe Smooth

A strong message of unity comes today from Joe Smooth’s house classic Promised Land. The importance of unity has likely heightened for you as you develop the relationship with your true self. Just as mind, body and soul exist as one unit and as a united force, that is also true for every individual being who belongs to the source and how we operate as a collective. With transformation occurring on all fronts – across the planet as a whole as well as in and around our lives – unity, both personally and collectively, is what is required in order to survive and thrive. As the tune goes: “Brothers, sisters, One day we will be free, From fighting, violence, People crying in the street. When the angels from above, Fall down and spread their wings like doves, And we’ll walk hand in hand, Sisters, brothers, we’ll make it to the Promised Land. You and I, We’ll walk the land, And as one, and as one, We’ll take our stand”.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I hare some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
