Tune of the Day for Friday 14 February 2020: Special by Peven Everett

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today’s lovin’ vibes come courtesy of Peven Everett. Special is a reminder of the bond that you have with your significant other and the place that they have in your heart and you in their heart. That sacred bond, which is firmly rooted in the spiritual, is hard to fathom for most people around you, and quite often when those who share such a bond meet, there is interference and influence from both outside forces and internal “invasive species” that do not belong to your inner being. As the tune goes: “Now that you’ve got me hot, Show me what you got, I can’t leave you alone. And all of my friends say I’m wrong, Oh, They don’t know what I feel, Trying to change my mind…Special, I’ll be damned if you ain’t fly, Cause you got something special, Special, So baby can I be with you tonight”. Special is a reminder to always follow your heart and to honour the bond that you have with your significant other and to know that love always reigns.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I hare some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
