Tune of the Day for Wednesday 12 February 2020: Balance In All Things by Elements of Life

Today’s lyrics of wisdom come from Louie Vega’s orchestral outfit, Elements of Life. Balance In All Things is a reminder of the necessity for balance in one’s life, and how everyone and everything is connected. Balance is crucial to the planet’s and everyone’s existence. With that in mind, it brings to awareness the fragility of balance when one is knocked off course and the impact it has on the world – after all, we are all connected. As Ursula Rucker sings: “Balance In All Things, Every cloud is connected to every flower, And every heartbeat is connected to every river’s flow, And every rainfall is connected to every baby’s cry and lover’s sigh, Balance In All Things”. Maintaining balance in one’s life is in fact a lot easier than people may think given that it simply requires you to pay close attention to you and being mindful in every moment of your existence.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I hare some musical vibes. Music , is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
