Tune of the Day for Friday 13 December 2019: Send A Prayer Pt.2 by Motor City Drum Ensemble

Whichever term resonates with you – be it a “prayer”, magick, special request or any other term that comes to mind, the key to any of these being answered and granted by source, is gratitude. When I first heard Motor City Drum Ensemble’s Send A Prayer Pt.2, it was like it had dropped from the heavens and landed on my stereo with its high vibes and blessings. Gratitude! The point of this little story is that by practicing the art of gratitude with everything that you do and encounter in life – even when you encounter the not so good, give gratitude for the lessons you’ve gained – it sends an acknowledgment and an energetic signal for more of what you do want in your life to come into fruition.

Tune of the Day is a new divinatory series here on my blog where I share some musical vibes. Music is a very powerful tool with numerous messages to be gleaned from a tune, whether it’s got vocals on it or it’s purely instrumentals. It also has massive healing benefits too.

Whether you have an ear for music or are simply looking for divination of a different medium altogether, music most certainly moves us and offers guidance. And just like with tarot, music will have different meanings to different readers or in this case listeners. With each Tune of the Day I provide a general overview of some of the messages I’ve got from the track, but of course you may listen to it and get different signs or symbols. Enjoy!
